AML-CFT : A walk-through for the day-to-day practitioner and the 4th Anti-Money Laundering Directive

Course Outline

The first two sessions will tackle the main obligations of the AML-CFT regime in Malta, consisting of Customer Due Diligence, Risk Assessment and Risk Management, Record Keeping and Reporting Procedures. Each session will not only give an overview of obligations emanating from the law and the FIAU’s Implementing Procedures, but will also provide practical considerations on how each may be addressed. The final session will be an opportunity to give a preview of the 4th Anti Money Laundering Directive and at the same time prepare participants to identify those areas that may have an impact on their operations  as a result of the new directive.

The FIAU has recognised this course as suitable AML / CFT training within the parameters of the PMLFTR for MLROs (and other employees).
