Course Outline
These sessions will tackle the main obligations of the AML-CFT regime in Malta, consisting of Customer Due Diligence, Risk Assessment and Risk Management, Record Keeping and Reporting Procedures. The Open Forum will give participants the opportunity to discuss related matters.
Each session will not only give an overview of obligations emanating from the law and the FIAU’s Implementing Procedures, but will also provide practical considerations on how each may be addressed.
The FIAU has recognised this course as suitable AML / CFT training within the parameters of the PMLFTR for MLROs (and other employees).
Who should attend
This course is intended for front-line practitioners (including MLROs and designated employees) who already have a sound knowledge of the main principles of Malta’s AML-CFT Regime.
Certification
A certificate of attendance will be issued to all participants who attend the sessions.
