Course Outline :
The lectures will examine the tax due under the Duty on Documents and Transfers Act (Cap. 364, Laws of Malta) on the transfers of immovable property; the meaning of immovable property and of transfer; the different rates of taxes due for different transactions; the method of calculation of tax and the exemptions and rebates allowed by law.
Who should attend ?
Notaries, lawyers, accountants and all other persons who wish to receive practical and updated information on the subject.
Certificate of attendance will be issued to all participants who attend the lectures.
The course has been accredited with 4 hours of structured CPE and qualify for the attainment of Core Competencies in terms of the MIA CPE Regulations.
